Official Rules

NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, CREDIT UNION MEMBERSHIP, LOAN APPLICATION, OR ACCOUNT OPENING IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR FINANCIAL TRANSACTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Sponsor

The “13 Days to the Fall Car Sale Daily Giveaway” is sponsored by Heritage South Credit Union, located at 60 Gene E. Stewart Blvd, Sylacauga, AL 35150, referred to in these rules as the “Sponsor.”

RadioAlabama is serving as a promotional partner and announcement outlet unless otherwise stated. RadioAlabama is not responsible for the administration of the giveaway, selection of winners, fulfillment of prizes, or decisions regarding eligibility.

2. Promotion Period

The giveaway begins at 12:01 a.m. Central Time on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and ends at 9:00 p.m. Central Time on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

The promotion consists of 13 separate daily giveaway periods:

  • Day 1: October 1
  • Day 2: October 2
  • Day 3: October 3
  • Day 4: October 4
  • Day 5: October 5
  • Day 6: October 6
  • Day 7: October 7
  • Day 8: October 8
  • Day 9: October 9
  • Day 10: October 10
  • Day 11: October 11
  • Day 12: October 12
  • Day 13: October 13

Each daily giveaway period begins at 12:01 a.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m. Central Time on the applicable day.

The Sponsor’s computer system is the official timekeeping device for this promotion.

3. Eligibility

The giveaway is open to legal residents of Alabama who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

Employees, officials, volunteers, directors, and immediate family members of Heritage South Credit Union, the Heritage South Credit Union Foundation, RadioAlabama, participating automobile dealers, advertising agencies, prize providers, and any other organization involved in administering or promoting the giveaway are not eligible.

“Immediate family” includes a spouse, parent, stepparent, child, stepchild, sibling, stepsibling, grandparent, or household member, whether related or not.

Heritage South Credit Union membership is not required.

4. How to Enter

Each day, Heritage South Credit Union will publish an official giveaway post on its social-media channels identifying that day’s prize and providing the official registration link.

To enter:

  1. View the official Heritage South Credit Union daily giveaway post.
  2. Click the official registration link included in the post.
  3. Complete and submit the entry form before 9:00 p.m. Central Time that day.

All requested information must be complete, accurate, and submitted through the official registration form.

Participants are encouraged to like and voluntarily share the daily post to help spread the word about the Fall Car Sale. However, liking, commenting on, following, tagging friends, or sharing a social-media post is not required to enter and will not provide additional entries or improve a participant’s chances of winning.

5. Entry Limits

Limit one entry per person per daily giveaway period.

A participant may register once each day during the 13-day promotion. Entries do not carry forward into another day’s drawing.

Automated, duplicate, incomplete, late, mechanically reproduced, fraudulent, or otherwise noncompliant entries may be disqualified.

Limit one prize per person and household during the entire promotion.

6. Winner Selection and Odds

One potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during each daily giveaway period.

The drawing will be conducted after the applicable daily entry deadline by the Sponsor or its authorized representative.

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for that day.

All decisions made by the Sponsor regarding eligibility, winner selection, rule interpretation, and administration are final and binding, subject to applicable law.

7. Winner Announcements and Notification

Each daily winner is expected to be announced the following day on a participating RadioAlabama station. The winner’s name may also be posted on Heritage South Credit Union’s and RadioAlabama’s official social-media channels.

The Sponsor will also attempt to contact the potential winner directly using the telephone number or email address provided on the registration form.

A public announcement does not replace the Sponsor’s eligibility-verification process. A potential winner is not an official winner until:

  • The Sponsor has successfully contacted the person;
  • The person has responded within the required timeframe;
  • Eligibility has been verified; and
  • Any required release, acknowledgment, tax, or identification documents have been completed.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 24 hours, is ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.

The Sponsor is not responsible for missed telephone calls, full voicemail boxes, filtered emails, incorrect contact information, or a participant’s failure to see an announcement.

8. Prizes

Thirteen daily prizes will be awarded, subject to verification and these rules.

The complete daily prize schedule and approximate retail value of each prize must be published at

  • October 13: Kate Spade Purse - $499
  • Prizes are nontransferable and may not be exchanged for cash unless the Sponsor expressly permits otherwise. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable.

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any expenses not expressly included with the prize.

9. Prize Pickup Requirements

Verified winners must claim their prizes in person during the Heritage South Credit Union Fall Car Sale, held October 14–16, 2026, at the Highway 280 Main Branch in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Prizes must be claimed during the following event hours:

  • October 14: 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • October 15: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • October 16: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Each winner must:

  • Present a valid government-issued photo identification;
  • Sign a prize acknowledgment or receipt;
  • Complete any required eligibility, liability, publicity, or tax documentation; and
  • Participate in a brief prize-presentation photograph.

A winner who cannot attend during the published claim period must contact Heritage South Credit Union before October 30th, 2026 to request an accommodation. Any accommodation is at the Sponsor’s discretion and must be applied consistently.

A prize that is not claimed by the applicable deadline may be forfeited. No replacement or compensation will be provided for a forfeited prize unless required by law.

10. Photography and Publicity

Where permitted by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its promotional partners to use the winner’s name, city, likeness, voice, photograph, and prize information for reasonable promotional, advertising, and publicity purposes without additional compensation.

If a winner does not wish to grant a publicity release, the Sponsor should consult its compliance officer or legal counsel before denying the prize.

11. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

  • Provides false or misleading information;
  • Attempts to submit more than the permitted number of entries;
  • Uses automated entry methods;
  • Tampers with the registration process;
  • Interferes with the fair administration of the giveaway;
  • Harasses employees, other entrants, or winners; or
  • Violates these official rules.

If fraud, technical failure, unauthorized intervention, human error, or another event compromises the integrity or administration of the giveaway, the Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate the affected drawing and select a winner from eligible entries received before the problem occurred, subject to applicable law.

The Sponsor is not responsible for unavailable websites, interrupted internet service, lost transmissions, technical malfunctions, incorrect or incomplete information, or entries that are late, misdirected, corrupted, or not received.

12. Release and Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Heritage South Credit Union, RadioAlabama, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, participating dealers, prize providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents from claims arising from participation in the promotion or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, except where such a release is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these rules limits liability that cannot legally be limited or waived.

13. Privacy

Information submitted through the official registration form will be used to administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, maintain required promotion records, prevent fraud, and fulfill prizes.

Marketing communications should only be sent when the participant has provided any legally required consent. Entry in the giveaway should not automatically enroll a participant in email or text-message marketing.

Information will be handled in accordance with Heritage South Credit Union’s applicable privacy policies and record-retention requirements.

14. Social-Media Disclaimer

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta, or any other social-media platform.

By entering, participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Heritage South Credit Union and not to Facebook, Instagram, or Meta.

Facebook, Instagram, and Meta are fully released from responsibility for the administration of this promotion.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

The promotion and these official rules are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama.

Any dispute arising from the promotion will be resolved individually and not through a class action, to the extent permitted by law. Venue for any permitted legal proceeding will lie in [TALLADEGA COUNTY, ALABAMA], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
