Who is eligible?
Open to Heritage South Credit Union members in good standing who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry and legal residents of the State of Alabama.
Employees and immediate family members of employees may be excluded from the member prize drawing.
How do I earn cruise entries?
You can earn entries by:

Is there a limit to entries?
There is no limit on referral-based or loan-based entries.
New members may earn up to seven (7) entries for qualifying products.
What qualifies as “new money”?
A new money loan is:

A newly originated loan
Internal refinances do not qualify unless additional funds are advanced.
Do I need to be present to win?
No. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email.
What does the cruise include?
The cruise prize includes cruise fare for two based on double occupancy. Taxes, gratuities, airfare, ground transportation, travel insurance, onboard expenses, and other incidentals are not included unless specifically stated.
Can the cruise be exchanged for cash?
The cruise prize has no cash value and may not be substituted or transferred, except at the sole discretion of Heritage South Credit Union.

One (1) winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Heritage South Credit Union within 30 days of the promotion end date.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Prize Details
Cruise prize approximate retail value (ARV): $1,500.00.
Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize acceptance. If prize value exceeds $600, winner will receive IRS Form 1099-MISC.
Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash unless otherwise determined by Heritage South.

Heritage South Credit Union (“HSCU”) is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
2. PROMOTION PERIOD
The Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on March 2, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on July 31, 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
All qualifying actions must be completed during the Promotion Period to be eligible.
Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 31, 2026 and received no later than five (5) business days after the Promotion Period ends.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Promotion is open to natural person members of Heritage South Credit Union who:

Are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry

Are legal residents of the State of Alabama
-
Are members in good standing at the time of entry and at the time of prize award
Business accounts may qualify for certain incentives; however, only natural persons are eligible for entry into the cruise drawing.
Employees, officials, directors, and volunteers of HSCU, and their immediate family members or persons residing in the same household, may be excluded from the member cruise drawing but may qualify for separate employee incentives under internal guidelines.

4. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
NO PURCHASE, ACCOUNT OPENING, LOAN, OR FINANCIAL TRANSACTION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

5. HOW TO EARN ENTRIES
Eligible members may earn entries as follows:
A. New Member Product Entries
New members may earn one (1) entry for each qualifying product opened and funded during the Promotion Period, up to a maximum of seven (7) entries per member relationship.

Products must be funded with new money from outside HSCU and maintained for a minimum of ninety (90) consecutive calendar days. Transfers between existing HSCU accounts do not qualify.
B. Referral Entries
A referring member receives one (1) entry for each new member who:

Opens a qualifying membership during the Promotion Period

Identifies the referring member at account opening
-
Has the referral properly documented by HSCU
The referring member must contact HSCU to confirm the referral. A note documenting the referral must be placed on the referring member’s account. Failure to properly document referral confirmation may result in disqualification of that entry.
Self-referrals are prohibited.
C. New Money Loan & Refinance Entries
Loans must represent new money to HSCU and must be funded during the Promotion Period.
New money includes:

Loan Prize Levels:

6. ENTRY LIMITATIONS
There is no limit to referral-based or loan-based entries unless otherwise stated. HSCU reserves the right to disqualify entries resulting from fraud, system manipulation, duplicate entries, or abuse of the Promotion.
All entries become the property of HSCU and will not be returned.
7. PRIZE DETAILS
Grand Prize:
One (1) Cruise for Two.
Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $1,500.
Prize includes cruise fare for two (2) individuals based on double occupancy.
Prize does NOT include:

Cruise certificate must be registered with the designated travel agency within forty-five (45) days of issuance. Certificate is valid for eighteen (18) months following registration and subject to cruise line availability, blackout dates, and travel provider terms and conditions.
The winner may elect to receive a $500 cash prize in lieu of the cruise. If the cash option is selected, no cruise certificate will be issued.
Prize is non-transferable and has no cash value except for the stated cash alternative option. HSCU reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
8. DRAWING & ODDS
The winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted within thirty (30) days after July 31, 2026.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winner need not be present to win.
Winner will be notified by phone and/or email. If winner cannot be contacted within fourteen (14) days, an alternate winner may be selected.
9. TAX REPORTING
Because the Approximate Retail Value of the cruise prize is $1,500, the winner will receive IRS Form 1099-MISC as required by federal law.
If the winner elects the $500 cash alternative, that amount may also be reported for tax purposes.
The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
10. ACCOUNT & DIRECT DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
Accounts must remain open and in good standing at the time incentives are distributed.
Minimum balance requirements, transaction limitations, and fees may apply. See applicable account disclosures and Truth-in-Savings disclosures for details.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
HSCU is not the provider of cruise or travel services and makes no warranties regarding the cruise line, travel provider, accommodations, safety, or services.
HSCU shall not be responsible for cancellations, delays, injuries, losses, damages, or expenses arising from travel or participation in the cruise.
Participation in travel is at the winner’s sole risk and subject to third-party provider terms and conditions
12. GENERAL CONDITIONS
HSCU reserves the right to:

Modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time

Disqualify individuals for fraud, abuse, tampering, or rule violations

Interpret and apply these rules at its sole discretion
All decisions of HSCU management are final.
13. GOVERNING LAW
This Promotion is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama and applicable federal regulations.
